In a seminar organised and chaired by Yonit Kosovske, Justin Grounds and Kosovsked discuss their ongoing research & arts practice collaboration and exploration of New Music for Harpsichord as a solo and collaborative instrument. Also collaborating on this seminar were Wolodymyr Smishkewych (hurdy gurdy) and Jack Grogan (hang drum) following performances of two new compositions were performed: "Seams in My Socks" co-composed by Kosovske and Grounds as a multi-media harpsichord piece exploring neurodiversity, including sensory issues, autism, stimming, and OCD, as well as the world premiere of Grounds' chamber quartet "Litany", for harpsichord, hang drum, baroque violin, and hurdy gurdy, in homage to four animals that recently went extinct (Pinta Island Tortoise, Ivory Billed Woodpecker, Splendid Poison Frog, and Western Black Rhinoceros).
