Critical Voices 3 was the third programme in the Arts Council's biennial series of public events which aims to stimulate public debate about and inform critical understanding of art and culture. The programme ran from March to December 2006 and featured interviews, lectures, panel discussions and performances, encompassing all art forms. Guests included British author and psychoanalyst Adam Phillips; US artist, musician and poet Patti Smith; Mexican performance artist and writer Guillermo Gómez-Peña; and Russian composer, poet and pianist Lera Auerbach.
