Hurdy Gurdy Course and Concert with Germán Díaz

As part of the H.I.P.S.T.E.R. year round series, co-directed by Yonit Kosovske and funded by the Arts Council of Ireland and Limerick City and County Council, this Hurdy-Gurdy Discovery Weekend welcomed world renowned musician Germán Díaz, Spanish composer and performer on hurdy-gurdy, who is considered one of the most innovative interpreters of this instrument today. Díaz taught a day-long workshop on hurdy-gurdy technique, repertoire, and maintenance, with an afternoon concert on the following day.
