his research network aims to bring people interested in the material and cultural heritages of religion in Ireland together, and to facilitate discussion and collaboration on shared research questions, as well as connecting Irish research with researchers internationally.
We aim to hold a series of seminars (virtual and in person), aimed at sharing research and research approaches, and developing collaborative approaches across the sector.
This area of research is interdisciplinary and involves many different stakeholders and groups, from archivists, representative groups, members of religious orders and religious organisations, researchers, communities, architects, urban planners, conservation and heritage professionals, to name just a few. The MCHRI network is very open to all those who are interested in sharing research and collaborating on research questions.
