Under its terms of reference, the members of the Faculty AS/EDI Committee are asked to familiarise themselves with the key principles of Athena Swan, to act as Athena Swan Champions by disseminating the Athena Swan principles and the university's commitment to these principles, and to contribute actively to the compiling of the Athena Swan Strategy and Implementation Plan. The aim of the committee is to identify, share, and develop best-practice within FAHSS departments, to compile a range of department initiatives, to put forward recommendations to the UL Athena Swan Steering Committee for consideration, and to prepare award submissions.
