Biography
Ailish is an Assistant Professor in Nursing (Mental Health) and is a registered mental health nurse with a clinical career spanning over 19 years across the private and public sectors in Ireland and Australia. Ailish has a wealth of experience in managament, project development and therapeutic group facilitation with adults and adolescents, across a variety of inpatient and outpatient mental health services. While working as a Clinical Nurse Manager in Child & Adolescent services, Ailish completed a MSc in Science in Mental Health - Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Strand.
Research Interests
Ailish has passion for teaching and research with a particular interest in youth mental health and published her research "A study of Irish secondary school student's views on mental health supports in school"
