Biography
I am a dedicated Teaching Assistant in the Department of Psychology at the University of Limerick, with a strong academic and research foundation. I hold a PGCE in Teaching from the University of Sussex (2022) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods in Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast. My expertise lies in teaching, research methodologies, and statistical analysis. I am committed to fostering an engaging learning environment that supports the academic growth of both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
I have built a strong rapport with students, offering personalised guidance, leading tutorials and lab sessions, particularly in research methods and statistical analysis.
In addition to teaching, I have a keen interest in Psycho-Oncology and Health Psychology. My undergraduate research explored Galvanic Skin Response to stress and the understanding of cancer based on personal exposure to the condition. During my postgraduate studies, I focused extensively on diabetes-related research.
I am proficient in SPSS and experienced in data analysis, participant recruitment, and collaborative teamwork.
