Surface waves, internal waves, wrinkles, sea-ice, asymptotic methods.

I am a theoretical physicist presently working as an applied mathematician on the genesis and morphology of wrinkles in elastic sheets, with a particular interest on their behavior in the plastic regime. I did my PhD with Prof John Wettlaufer at the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics (Nordita) on the interaction of surface waves with a parallel shear flow.
