Biography

My PhD research focuses on the development of next-generation nanoparticle-based LEDs, with an emphasis on creating more environmentally sustainable and less toxic materials for optoelectronic applications.

A key aspect of the project is the transition away from traditional cadmium-based nanorods, which offer strong optical performance but raise significant concerns regarding human health and environmental impact. Instead, the research explores indium-based nanoparticles as a safer and more sustainable alternative while maintaining high device performance and efficiency.

The project combines nanomaterials engineering, device fabrication, and optical characterization to advance the development of high-performance, eco-friendly LED technologies for future display and lighting applications.
