Biography

Developed a lightweight composite material system for body armor. Design, manufacturing, testing and analysis of composites under different loading conditions. Presently working on the testing of PTFE composites reinforced with fabrics of different architectures. The properties include abrasive wear, impact and high strain rate properties. The work is focused on the implementation of these composites for domestic applications like floor panels, doors, etc.
