Brendan Mullane received his BEng. degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland in 1992 and completed his PhD degree in 2010 after returning from industry overseas. He is currently a Senior Research Fellow and Lectures within the Electronic and Computer Engineering Dept. for Digital Signal Processing and Deep Learning topics. Brendan has been the principal investigator on a number of significant research projects to date and he is author of one book chapter and more than 40 articles including five patents. His research interests include digital signal processing and deep learning edge AI applications with a biomedical health focus.
