My research interests are recovery, monitoring markers of recovery (e.g. blood, saliva, subjective and objective markers, sleep variables), exploring associations between training load (subjective or objective), markers of recovery, injury, and illness, with the aim to optimising performance.

I am an experienced lecturer, strength and conditioning coach, and sport scientist, both practically applied and educational. I have international experience (USA, UK and Ireland) in coaching strength and conditioning a variety of sports and athletes (international to novice). I am a clear-thinking individual with well-developed skills in decision-making, resilience and a passion for teaching and high-performance sport.
