Biography

Colin Butler is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering, University of Limerick. He received his B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering (2009) and Ph.D. degree related to thermofluids research (2013) from the University of Limerick. He also spent a number of years undertaking research at the Université de Toulouse, France.

His main research interests include heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics and additive manufacturing. He has worked on a number of funded projects related to the aerospace, astronautics, chemical engineering, energy and thermal management fields.
