Biography

Dr. Con Sheahan is an Associate Professor of Enterprise Performance Modelling in the School of Engineering, University of Limerick, Ireland. He has co-ordinated five EU collaborative research projects (FP6, FP7, EURASMUS+, H2020) including industrial and academic partners from across Europe. He is also Principal Investigator for projects funded by Science Foundation Ireland and Enterprise Ireland in the domain of enterprise visualisation and performance.  He has a PhD in Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Optimisation, a B.Eng. in Production Engineering and an MBA.  He has also worked in the aerospace industry for a decade in both Ireland and the USA. His research is focused upon the creation and deployment of industrial scale Demand and Supply chain models and methods for effective enterprise performance enhancement. He is a member of the Course Board and Lectures upon the Engineers Ireland Accredited BE in Design and Manufacturing at the University of Limerick.
