Biography

PhD in Exercise Psychology from the University of Limerick. Conducting meta-analytic and experimental investigations of the efficacy of resistance exercise training for depressive and anxiety symptoms, particularly among young adults with Analogue Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Long-term interests in researching mental disorders (particularly anxiety/depression), exercise-based prevention/treatment/management, treatment mechanisms, 'precision psychiatry', and other brain-related conditions (e.g., dementias, Parkinson's disease).
