Biography

Deirdre Hogan is co-ordinator of the Ubuntu Network based in the School of Education at the University of Limerick. She holds a Degree in Science Education, a Higher Diploma in Systems Analysis and a Master of Education (Education for Sustainable Development). She is a member of the Department of Education Advisory Committee on Education for Sustainable Development (Ireland) and the Irish Development Education Association Formal Education working group. Her research interests include Education for Sustainable Development in the context of science education, and innovative pedagogies for engaging young people in education for change.
