Wind tunnel testing, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), prediction of aircraft stability derivatives using CFD, aerodynamic design of helicopter rotor blades, aircraft turbojet compressor and turbine blade design, optimisation of hydraulic pump impellers for specialist applications, and internal combustion engine exhaust gas dynamics.
