Research Interests

I am currently engaged in research projects focusing on various aspects of practice in healthcare education. My work includes:

  • Exploring Alternative Practice Placement Models: A qualitative systematic review examining the perspectives and experiences of learners and practice educators.

  • Assessing Mental Capacity: Investigating how different multidisciplinary professional backgrounds influence assessment approaches with patients, in collaboration with Cygnet Health Care UK (2024).

  • Supporting Students Through the Feedback Cycle: Conducting a qualitative peer review study to enhance the feedback process for students.

  • End-of-Life Conversations and Care: Leading an action research project and paper aimed at preparing students for sensitive end-of-life discussions.

  • Cardiorespiratory Placement: Investigating the perspectives of physiotherapy students before and after their clinical placements through focus groups.
