Biography

Gourav is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of History and Geography, University of Limerick, Ireland. He has an extensive background in agricultural sciences and forestry, and a Doctorate in ecology, climate change and remote sensing from TU Munich. Gourav has contributed to multiple research organizations and universities across India, Germany, Italy, and Ireland. Most recently, he served as a Senior Earth Observation Scientist on the Terrain-AI project at Maynooth University. He has contributed to multiple working papers, books, conferences and his research has been published widely in journals of international repute.
