Research Interests

My research interests are centred on the translational investigation of chronic inflammatory diseases, with a particular focus on endometriosis, cancer, and related malignancies. I aim to elucidate the molecular, cellular, and clinicopathological mechanisms that govern disease progression, inflammatory dysregulation, therapeutic resistance, and patient outcomes. My work integrates molecular biology, mutation screening, and multi-dimensional biomarker analysis with in vitro disease modelling and clinicopathological data interpretation, with the overarching goal of identifying novel diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic targets. A central aspect of my research involves the evaluation of bioactive compounds and the characterisation of key inflammatory signalling pathways, particularly NF-κB-mediated mechanisms to inform the development of safer, more targeted, and clinically translatable therapeutic strategies.
