Dedicated and passionate academic professional with 20+ years of research, teaching, curriculum development and leadership and who, through her PhD work and Irish and EU-funded projects, has gained specialist skills and expertise in supply chain management, eBusiness, innovation, business modelling and simulation. She has established key national and global relationships with senior industry experts, leaders, and industry learners. These relationships have fed into research output in the form of curriculum development for several academic programmes at the Atlantic University Alliance (AUA) and the Flexible Learning Centre at the University of Limerick. She continues to achieve recognition at Infineon, Dell, Intel and various universities including Stanford University for her supply chain curricula design and her online delivery of programmes for industry. Designing the Supply Chain Management SCM apprenticeship programmes in Ireland have allowed for continuous engagement with various industries to build their talent pipeline. She continues to progress supply chain education on a national and international level throughout her career, leading to real-world outcomes of employment and career growth and is regularly consulted for expertise as a Thought Leader in SCM from both industry and academic sectors.
Ingrid has been teaching in a university setting since 2005. Her students are postgraduate industry professionals who return to education to enhance their skills in engineering practice and supply chain operations. She teaches entirely online, with expertise in supply chain frameworks and thesis research. Her primary focus is on designing, developing, and delivering content that addresses the needs of these unique learners while ensuring the curriculum aligns with current industry standards and practices.
