Research Interests

John's research covers project and knowledge management in the non-profit sector, with particular emphasis on international development, human rights promotion and protection, and humanitarian assistance.  Much of this work takes a critical perspective on projects and knowledge as practice, and on projects as a form of organising to achieve social, environmental or political change.  

Teaching Interests

John's primary teaching interests and experience are in the areas of knowledge and information management, management information systems, project management and research methods.
