CTO Heyday Integrated Circuits (Grasse, France). Director KR64 Technologies Ltd. (Ireland).
Research Interests: Power conversion and energy management; Point-of-Load DC/DC converters; Power conversion systems for data centers; Continuous- and discrete-time control of power converters; Modelling and simulation of power delivery systems; Integrated power management and energy reporting; Mixed-signal IC design; Integrated system architectures and Systems-On-Chip; Embedded systems. Karl Rinne authored/co-authored many papers and articles. He holds >10 granted patents. He graduated >5 PhD research students.
