Kelsey is an interdisciplinary researcher whose work spans the fields of transitional justice, peacebuilding and human rights. Her research focuses on access to justice for survivors/victims of armed conflict. Kelsey has experience working with a diverse team of colleagues across interdisciplinary and international project contexts – Liberia, Haiti, Somalia, US, and Ireland. In particular, Kelsey has built strong research partnerships in Liberia where she has conducted extensive survivor/victim-centred qualitative research evaluating the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the National Palava Hut Programme, and reparations. Kelsey is currently a Teaching Assistant at the University of Limerick. Her pedagogy involves a collaborative and research-led approach to learning. She teaches International Relations, Global Political Economy, Global Politics, and Empowerment & Lifeskills.
