Research Interests

PhD Researcher at the University of Limerick. Holds a Ba in Applied Psychology and Ma in Work & Organisational Psychology. Working on the Horizon EU Strategic Health Initiatives for Effective Disease Prevention (SHIELD) Project. This is an innovative research project which aims to apply advanced AI modelling to capture individual risk profiles for Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes, to tailor digital health interventions to users of the SHIELD mobile app, and create an online dashboard for health professionals to monitor patients progress. I am currently researching around the definition of a hierarchical risk prediction model which is more comprehensive in its consideration of how risk states can change in comparison to static biomedical risk models.
