Biography

Louise is a researcher at University of Limerick. She has a background in health psychology and is currently working as Research Fellow on the ISCycle2 project, funded by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland. Louise completed her PhD at University of Galway, studying medication taking among people living with multiple long-term conditions. Since 2022, Louise has been working with the ISCycle team on a sustainable mobility project examining the potential for ebikes to promote healthier tranport. She is interested in working together with members of the public to generate evidence to inform more equitable and inclusive policies. At ISCycle this involves collaborating with community partners to develop and evaluate an active mobility intervention for people who cannot access the Bike-to-Work scheme for a variety of reasons, but who nonetheless should be included in the transition to sustainable mobility.
