Biography

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Master in Big Data Analytics from the European University of Madrid, and Master in Acoustic Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid. I did my doctoral thesis at the Instrumentation and Applied Acoustics Research Group (I2A2-UPM) in collaboration with the Ergonomics and; Human Factors Group (EHF) at Universidade do Minho. My research involves the automatic detection of human movement using wearable sensors (wearables) and artificial intelligence. Currently I'm working, as post-doctoral Researcher in the cross-European Project: WEALTH (Wearable sensors for the assessment of physical and eating behaviours) and the Spain project:andnbsp;Biomarcadores digitales para la evaluación del estado motor de pacientes con Enfermedad de Párkinson para su aplicación Clínica y Terapéutica (BIOCLITE)
