Biography

Lukas Kuld is an assistant professor in economics at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. He is an applied economist, whose research focuses on the economics of innovation, agglomeration, and labour markets, with particular attention to the sciences and arts. Using biographical and bibliometric data, he has published on barriers in the international dissemination of research ideas and collaboration patterns in economic research.
Before joining the department of economics in Limerick, he was working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Dortmund in Germany. He received a Ph.D. in economics from Trinity College Dublin and a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree from the University of Mannheim. He is also a graduate of the grande école programme at ENSAE Paris, the French national school for statistics and economics.
