Biography
Marwane Khalfaoui Hassani is a PhD researcher in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Limerick. His research, conducted at Teagasc Moorepark in collaboration with the VistaMilk SFI Research Centre, applies statistical modelling and machine learning to precision dairy farming, investigating how milking machine settings interact with individual cow characteristics to influence udder health and milking efficiency. His work aims to support the development of personalised milking strategies at the individual animal level.
