Biography
Dr. Muhammad Shahin CPA is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Department of Accounting and Finance, Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. Prior to his appointment at Kemmy Business School, he was a faculty member of the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka. Dr. Shahin completed his PhD at Massey University New Zealand. Dr. Shahin was awarded the ''Justice Ibrahim Memorial Gold for his outstanding research. He has international teaching experience in different countries including New Zealand, UK, Australia, and Bangladesh. His research areas include Capital Market Research, Sustainability, IFRSs, Regulations Impact, Accounting Quality, Auditing and Corporate Governance. His research appeared in different international journals including Corporate Governance: An International Review, International Journal of Finance and Economics, International Journal of Auditing, Accounting Research Journal, Asian Review of Accounting, and Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance among others.
