Oisin Watkins

I graduated from the University of Limerick with a BEng in Electronic and Computer Engineering in 2019. Over the following 6 years I worked as an Applications Engineer and a Systems Engineer for Analog Devices, both in Ireland and in Massachusetts. In 2023 I moved to Eugene, OR where I worked full time as an Embedded Software Developer while undergoing a part-time PhD from Portland State University, Portland OR. My primary research focus during this time was Quantum Learning Algorithms for learning boolean functions. In 2025 I relocated back to Ireland. My current research is in Quantum Emulation and Quantum Malware.
