Biography
Paul Finn is an educator and researcher specialising in multilingualism, applied sociolinguistics, and language education. With experience teaching Irish, Japanese, French and EAL at second and tertiary levels in Ireland and abroad, he is committed to advancing inclusive and effective language learning environments.
He is currently conducting PhD research with multilingual adolescents in Irish-Medium Education, supervised by Dr. Deirdre Ní Loingsigh, University of Limerick. His academic interests include language policy, identity, and the revitalisation of minority languages. He is also involved in PLURILINGMEDIA , an EU-funded COST Action promoting research on media in minority and regional languages.
Paul Finn holds a Professional Master of Education (University of Galway) and a BA in Applied Languages (University of Limerick). As a former Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) on the JET Programme and an active Irish language advocate through Conradh na Gaeilge, Paul brings a strong intercultural perspective to both teaching and research.
