Research Interests
PhD Student of Eighteenth- to Nineteenth-Century Gothic Literature. My current research focuses on the movement of Gothic archetypes such as the vampire and the wanderer from German Romantic poetry to the Irish Gothic novel, and how such figures were vectors for revealing shared European anxieties surrounding the supernatural, religious conflict, and damnation.
