Biography
Sean O’Neill is a PhD researcher in Work and Employment Studies at the University of Limerick, exploring how individuals make sense of and learn through change in organisational settings such as hybrid working. In addition to sensemaking, his work focuses on informal and self-directed learning, and the ways people adapt in uncertain working environments.
Alongside his research, Sean has experience in sales, marketing, teaching, and freelance journalism, which provides him with practical insight into how organisations operate and how people construct meaning in real-world contexts.
Sean is interested in bridging theory and practice, particularly in the areas of workplace learning, organisational change, coaching, and facilitation. He is committed to supporting organisations and individuals in navigating complexity, ambiguity, and change effectively.
