Biography

Dr Shahid Husain was awarded the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowship (2022). Dr Shahid will spend two years of his fellowship at UL working on the Development of a Novel Machine Learning-based model for Multiphase flows under the supervision of Professor Michael Vynnycky at the Department of Mathematics & Statistics (MS), UL. 

Prior to that he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh (India).

He was also awarded with the prestigious EuroTechPostdoc2 Maire-Curie Cofund postdoctoral fellowship (2022) to pursue research at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) (Offer declined). He was conferred with a University Medal for the First position in masters. He was also awarded the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship for Master of Science in Computational Mechanics by European Commission (Offer declined), Maulana Azad National Fellowship for pursuing doctoral studies, etc.
