I am an Associate Professor in Statistics & Data Science specialising in applied statistical modelling and methods for health research, with a particular focus on ageing and neurodegenerative diseases. My work integrates longitudinal modelling, machine learning, spatial analytics, and complex systems approaches to better understand disease trajectories, population-level risk factors, and healthcare accessibility. I conduct interdisciplinary research on statistical and machine-learning approaches for predicting ageing outcomes, neurodegenerative diseases, and geospatial health, and I previously contributed to a Horizon Europe project examining long-term outcomes in multiple sclerosis. My supervision and research span clinical datasets, disease-trajectory heterogeneity, and exposure modelling, and I collaborate closely with industry partners on applied data science projects within healthcare and related sectors. |
