Sorcha also continues to research gothic masculinities and the process by which masculinities are reconfigured in remediated texts. Sorcha was also successful co-applicant and co-researcher on the National Strategy for the Irish Language Based Arts, Straitéis d'Ealaíona Teangabhunaithe. The research project valued at €35,000 was awarded to UL and Mary Immaculate College in August 2019.
