Research Interests

Temi joined the Bernal Institute as an electron microscopy instrument scientist in 2024.

She earned a B.Tech in Physics and Electronics (2015) from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria, followed by an MSc degree in Applied Physics (2018) from the University of Limerick. She subsequently complteted a PhD in Materials Science (2023), at the University of Limerick, where her research focused on solution-based synthesis and applications of high throughput one dimensional nanostructures combined with advanced electron microscopy characterization.

Foolwign her PhD, Temi continued as a postdoctoral researcher at UL, investigating the properties of novel two-dimensional ferroelectrics using state-of-the-art Transmission Electron Microscopy under various in-situ conditions including heating and biasing experiments..
