Biography
Vikram is a dentist by training and public health expert/epidemiologist by profession. He has a passion for teaching and has more than 14 years of experience in teaching public health, epidemiology, and health promotion to international students across the globe.
Vikram’s research areas are diverse, and he has high impact publications covering public health research topics – such as non-communicable diseases, Cancer, CVD, oral health; tobacco control, smoking cessation, physical activity, health promotion, surveillance system, public and patient involvement, medical education, infectious diseases, quality of life. Having collaborated with Irish and international researchers, he is keen to promote knowledge translation to improve the health system and service delivery and looks forward to fostering UL’s international networking and to enhancing the existing high standards of MPH programme delivery.
