Abstract

This paper will discuss a PC based hardware/software development system for aiding the design of Memory Based Analogue Signal Generation [1] to be included in Built-In Self-Test (BIST) solutions for Analogue to Digital Converters (ADCs). In this tester arrangement, Matlab is used, via Simulink Modelling, to generate a test stimulus, which can be directly downloaded into the development hardware, which emulates an On-Chip BIST solution.
