Abstract

This paper presents a context-sensitive InfoStation-based multi-agent system which facilitates mobile eLearning (mLearning) service provision within a University Campus domain. A general overview of the network architecture underlying this mLearning system is presented, as well as brief outline of the interactions involved in the provision of one of the core mLearning services, in this case the mTest service. In the main, this paper highlights a number of implementation issues associated with this system; in particular the utilization of Java Agent DEvelopment Framework (JADE)-based agents in conjunction with Composite Capabilities/Preference Profile (CC/PP)-based profiles for the personalization and contextualization of the presented services.
