Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Healthcare systems and applications are widely used nowadays, which improve the overall performance of the healthcare systems. Several applications and services have been implemented to provide better healthcare services to patients. This chapter provides a comprehensive insight into AI-based Systems and Applications along with the services that are being implemented in several fields of healthcare. AI-based applications and services are used for drug discovery, clinical trials, patient care, medical image analysis, medical imaging, pathology, ophthalmology, and dermatology. The AI-based applications and services also face some challenges, which are provided briefly in this chapter.
