Abstract
A mixture theory of compressible constituents (solid and fluid), integrating the know-how of compressible poro-elasticity and electro-chemo-mechanical formulation of bone was presented. The model describes the interaction between pore solutions and the mechanical behavior of a charged porous medium. The model takes into account compressibility of the solid and the fluid.
