Abstract
The culmination of composer Fiona Linnane's year-long project exploring Art Song was presented in a recital at Saint Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick, on Tuesday, 18th November 2025. This concert brought together both her newly composed works and pieces written nearly two decades ago. The programme included selections from Linnane's award winning Songs from Kate O'Brien (with lyrics by Mary Coll) alongside a world premiere of a song setting of the poetry of Barbara Hickey, grandmother of soprano Eve Stafford.
The recital featured Eve Stafford (soprano) and Dr. Yonit Kosovske (piano), and introduced Chloe Collins (soprano) in her first performance at Saint Mary's Cathedral.
