Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to review the use of voltammetry and related methods applied at liquid-liquid interfaces (also referred to as interfaces between two immiscible electrolyte solutions (ITIES)) in bioanalytical chemistry. For the purposes of this review, bioanalytical chemistry is referred to as the detection and quantitative determination of molecules of biological importance. Bioanalytical problems are of great interest worldwide, not least because of the need for reliable measurements to provide information in areas such as understanding biological.
