Abstract

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Moira Smiley performed a concert weaving song and story through folkloric and European art music traditions. This concert was presented at the Irish Chamber Orchestra in the context of the University of Limerick Centre for European Studies (CEUROS) conference "Cultural Memory – Memory Culture(s). Europe’s Past, Present and Future” and in collaboration with H.I.P.S.T.E.R. (Historically Informed Performance Series, Teaching, Education and Research).
