Abstract

Different grades of polyurethane (PU) are widely used in biomedical devices. In this chapter we describe contact poling methodology developed for polyurethane (PU) grade typically used for urological stents and investigate interactions with Proteus Mirabilis, a common pathogen that causes encrustation on urinary devices.
