Abstract

Parker, Patton, Madden and Sinclair (2010) examine the factors that facilitated the creation and maintenance of a community of practice through the process of curriculum development for four primary teachers and a curriculum coordinator. The shared response to the paper is based on the importance of being a professional at all levels within our field and how teacher professional development is inherent in that professionalism.
