Continuous Model-Driven Engineering

Abstract

Agility at the customer, user, and application level has proved to be a key to aligning and linking business and IT. This new cooperation between the customer and the contractor/developer reduces the need for complex and expensive specification documents, but it still happens mostly at the code level. Continuous Engineering can only take off if all the stakeholders can talk about the same thing, and this “thing” is a model, not code.
