Abstract
The accuracy of ratings can be defined in terms of specific behaviors or in terms of judgments or classifications. Various authors have suggested that one type (i.e., classification or behavioral) of accuracy measure is generally preferable over the other. The present paper argues that neither type of accuracy measure is best in all situations, and suggests some considerations for choosing between measures of behavioral and classification accuracy.
